Jeremy Fernando received his MA in Communications in 2006 from the European Graduate School, Switzerland, where Avital Ronell and Werner Hamacher are his mentors.  His interests include post-structural philosophy, popular culture and its perverse core, and the masochistic contract. He is the author of Reflections on (T)error (2008). Other publications include articles and chapters on news and journalism, and the status of Singapore cinema.  Jeremy is also currently working on a book project which examines the relationship between terror and philosophy.
