Brian Bergen-Aurand
Assistant Professor
Brian Bergen-Aurand teaches in the Division of English. He earned his PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Maryland College Park in 2004 and a special certificate in Critical Theory from Maryland in 1997. He earned his MA in English from Salisbury University in 1992 and his BA in English from Purdue University in 1990. His most recent articles have appeared in New Review of Film and Television Studies, Photovision, Romance Studies, and CineAction. Currently, he is completing a book entitled Cinematic Provocations: Ethics, Justice, and the Body and serves as a reader for Philosophy in Review and an editor for the journal Gender on our Minds.
