Jen Crawford is an Assistant Professor within the Division of English. She is a poet with critical interests in contemporary creative and experimental writings, particularly those which emerge in (post)colonial and digital environments. Her poetry collections include Admissions (Five Islands Press, 2000), Bad Appendix (Titus Books, 2008) and Napoleon Swings (Soapbox Press, 2009). She received her PhD from the University of Wollongong in 2005, for a dissertation focused on magical child characters as they appear in contemporary New Zealand fiction.
